TORFL is a modern Russian language proficiency test for non-native speakers, developed in accordance with international assessment standards. It includes 6 levels, from Beginner (A1) to Advanced (C2).

The exam consists of 5 components assessing key language skills: Writing, Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Vocabulary & Grammar.

It provides an official certificate issued in accordance with Russian state standards. This certificate is internationally recognized and confirms your level of Russian in line with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

You will need to pay for the exam yourself at an accredited centre. At the moment, exams can only be taken through a Russian institution or university.
Our role is to prepare you fully: we guide you through the process, explain the details, and provide the knowledge you need to succeed.

Who is your teacher

Hi, I'm Daria, the main teacher for TORFLs courses.

I have been preparing students for international exams since 2016.
It is both a great responsibility and a true pleasure for me.
I also prepare students for exams at the Russian Scientific and Cultural Center in Belgium (The Russian Embassy), helping them achieve confident results.

Independently

This is important if you want to prepare independently, prefer autonomy, and study at your own pace.
Independently + feedback

This format is ideal for learners who value independence and a flexible pace, while still benefiting from personalized feedback from a teacher, direct communication via a private chat, and regular homework correction.
ONE-TO-ONE

The one-to-one format includes 10-30 individual lessons and covers the entire preparation program with a teacher. You work with online materials and pre-recorded grammar, and receive support and correction throughout the full course.

Learning and deepening my knowledge of the Russian language with Daria was a pleasure! Methodical and highly skilled in her teaching, she nevertheless adapted to my specific needs. Whether it was understanding grammar or exploring Russian culture, she always adjusted her approach accordingly.
